Dagmar Zuniga

Dagmar Zuniga
Stadtgarten Saal

Dagmar Zuniga, who found herself drifting from New York to Norway, and via Georgia back to the Big Apple a few years ago, is part of a new wave of singer-songwriters drawing on folk, yet her tracks are not primarily intimate or political, but rather haunted and eerie. Ghostly sketches characterised by flute, guitar, her otherworldly voice, delicate field recordings and crisp static—songwriting on the brink of self-dissolution.
